He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
We have to learn to control our own spirit. My husband cringes every time he hears someone say something like "they made me mad". It is up to you whether you get upset about something. If we don't have control of our spirit it is a wide open door for the devil to plant doubt and other thoughts that are only going to discourage us more. He wants to keep us down so we cannot be productive for the Lord. Put walls up...decide to have a sweet, happy spirit.
