Daily Devotion - Job

We will take a quick break from the women of the Bible for this thought from my wonderful mother...
I've been reading the book of Job because our church theme this year is "stand firm in the faith". I want to read how others did it. But as I have been reading about Job's amazing experience, I noticed that when he was the most discouraged, he wanted to give up and die. He didn't want to go on. I wanted to say, "but Job, I know the end of your story--God is going to bless you beyond measure. Just wait!" Conversely, I don't know the end of my story. Events in my life have left me very sad, but God has richly blessed, and I don't know the end of the story...God still has blessings for me and is using me in ways I never dreamed of. If you are discouraged-don't give up. You don't know the end of the story.
